AngieG. is a digital artist and photographer. Her portfolio includes a vivid mixture of digital manipulations, lip photography, self-portraits, captures of nature & macros, and other monochrome photographs.
Completely self-taught, AngieG. embarked on her artistic journey in 2010. Her early works were mainly self-portraits, which then developed into more digitally edited creations. From the early beginnings, her pieces had a touch of the dark and bizarre, later on leaning more towards surrealism with sprinkles of lowbrow and pop art.
Today, AngieG. enjoys creating what doesn’t exist. Her surreal works grab the viewer to tell them stories of realms that are fantastic and dark. One particularity of her digital works is that they always contain an element of self. The artist is always a part of the image. Most of her works are developed from scratch, with the artist being photographer, model, and editor herself.
