Weighing just 400 grams and being only 4mm thin, the Movink is Wacom’s lightest and slimmest pen display to date. It’s comfortable enough to hold in your lap or hand, even for longer editing sessions.
Despite being lightweight and slim, the Movink is sturdy build quality. It has a durable magnesium alloy body and an anti-glare screen protection that minimizes reflections and also protects against color distortion, even when you draw with intense pen pressure.
The Movink comes with Wacom’s latest pen technology. Just like its predecessor, the Wacom Pro Pen 3 boasts 8,192 levels of pressure sensitivity and tilt recognition for the most natural digital drawing experience. What sets the Pro Pen 3 apart from the previous Pro Pen 2 is its customizability: thanks to the included accessories, you can adjust the pen’s weight, grip size, center of balance, and number of buttons.
To achieve this compactness, the Movink has been stripped down from all unnecessary frills. The bezels are now minimal, which gives you the largest possible working area, but also deprives you of space to rest your palm on.
Likewise, there are no more built-in buttons – you’ll need to get the external ExpressKey Remote or use your keyboard to access finger shortcuts. Alternatively, you can assign shortcuts to the touch keys in the top corners of the display. Apart from that, the Movink fully supports multi-touch gestures, meaning you can use your fingers to pan and zoom.
The Wacom Movink doesn’t come with a stand. Because it’s so thin, it can be a good idea to get an adjustable stand for desk use. Wacom offers a lightweight, foldable stand for the Movink that allows you to work at a comfortable 20° angle at home or in your office. When you move, you can simply fold the stand flat and fit it into your bag!
