The desired improvement should be achievable and not seem out of reach. If you are using affirmations that you don’t accept as true, they have little effect.
Ultimately, affirmations help you take a step toward change, but you still need to take action to make it happen. For example, if you have an affirmation to help you tap into your source of inspiration, you need to take the necessary preparations to receive new ideas.
Inspiration cannot come to a busy and stressed mind. So you need to do something to relax your mind. Meditation is a great way to open up to new creative input. In a previous post, I talked about how meditation helps artists rekindle their creativity.
The affirmation is the starting point, but you are the one who brings about the change.
