Description

One-on-One Website Consulting for Artists

You’ve created a website for your art but you’re not seeing the results you desire in terms of traffic, search engine ranking, and visitor engagement?

Then you are in the right place! I can help you work towards achieving the desired results and get your artist site noticed!

Getting organic search engine traffic and attracting a dedicated readership is usually a combination of search engine optimization (SEO) and content marketing. When done correctly, you can rank your website at the top of the search results organically only a couple of months after sending it live. By applying the right content marketing strategies, you can drive free, organic traffic to your website via multiple other channels.

How do I know? Because I’ve all done it! Since the very start, I’ve been optimizing my artist website for search engines—from the whole architecture of my site down to every single blog post I’ve ever published. I’ve been learning a lot about SEO and content marketing strategies, because I knew that otherwise it wouldn’t be possible to create visibility for my site.

My efforts definitely pay off, because—after five months only—multiple of my blog posts ranked position #1 on the search engine results pages (SERPs) and some even made it into the featured snippet of different search engines!

Every month, I’m getting a nice amount of organic traffic from search engines, social media networks, and other platforms where I promote my website. And all of that FOR FREE

Now I’m sharing my knowledge with other artists and creatives in my one-on-one website consulting to help you achieve the same results!

Time for Questions

  • Ask Me Anything

You have the opportunity to ask me questions about anything related to your website.

Maybe some things are still unclear and you desire further clarification.

Or you have specific questions about content marketing, building an email list, your blogging niche, etc.

I'll do my best to help you with anything that comes up with regard to your artist site!

• Complete Website Audit

I will take a thorough look at your website, analyzing all aspects that are important for search engine ranking. In particular, I will consider your optimization potential in terms of:

  • Technical SEO
  • Site Structure SEO
  • On-Page SEO

I’ll check how your website performs in terms of speed, loading times, ease of navigation and responsiveness—on both desktop computers and mobile devices. All those metrics are important for both search engine ranking and visitor retention.

I’ll check the domain authority of your artist site. This is basically the “trustworthiness” and relevance that search engines ascribe to your site with regard to a specific subject area. Domain authority plays a role in your site’s ranking in the search results, with backlinks from individual pages being one of the strongest ranking factors.

I’ll analyze your site’s architecture and internal linking structure. The internal linking structure is particularly important because a site that has an optimized internal linking structure may rank better than a site with a higher domain authority in terms of backlinks.

I’ll check how well your individual posts are optimized for search engines and visitor engagement, analyzing everything from top to bottom. The includes the structure of your posts, use of keywords in title, subtitles, body text, images, alt tags, etc., calls to action, opt-ins, and more.

• 1-Hour One-on-One Consultation Call

With my website audit completed, we’ll schedule a one-hour consultation call via Zoom or Skype. During this call, I’ll walk you step-by-step through the results of my website assessment. You’ll learn what is already great and where there’s room for improvement.

Based on the weak points I found on your site, I’ll provide you with hands-on tips and advice on how to make things work.

You don’t need to be an SEO wizard to follow along and get things done. I’ll break down everything in a way that makes it easy to understand for everyone! Remember, I’m an artist myself with focus on the creative right side of my brain—not the techy left side. (ᴖ‿ᴖ)

In other words, if I can get my head around those website optimization strategies and apply them, you can do it, too!

By the end of the call, you’ll know exactly what steps you need to take to improve your search engine ranking, get more traffic and engagement, and grow your email list.

• Time for Questions

Before wrapping things up, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and seek advice around topics related to your website.

In case there’s still something unclear, or if you have specific questions relating to content marketing, building an email list, your blogging niche, etc., this is the time to ask!

I’ll do my best to answer all your questions and help you with anything that comes up with regard to your artist website.

Just a quick reminder: I’m not your therapist that can help you deal with your daemons and I’m not your agent that can help you sell your art or get it in a gallery! So please don’t ask me questions that are not related to your website and expect answers. If you’re struggling with mental issues, please seek professional help. And if your goal is to generate art sales of $60,000 in the next six months, get an agent who can help you do that (and shoot me an email when you have found one). ʕᴖᴥᴖʔ

How do I know that it works?

Well, just for you to be sure that I’m not making everything up out of the blue, let me show you some screenshots of my website’s search engine performance. You can see that many of my blog posts are ranking position #1 (first organic search result) and some of my posts have even made it into the featured snippets (so-called position #0) in different search engines. And those are the results from 5 months after sending my website live!

I’m convinced that this is only achievable with a well-designed site architecture, optimized articles, and appropriate technical benchmarks.

Of course, getting on a call with me is no guarantee that your website will perform the same way as my website does. But I can promise that you’ll take away valuable and feasible tips to improve your site in many aspects!

My blog post about “feeling lost as an artist” has made it to the featured snippet at the top of Bing’s first search results page, outranking more established sites with a higher domain authority.

Featured snippet & first organic search result on Yandex (Feeling lost as an artist)
The same post ranking on Yandex as both the featured snippet and first organic search result.
On DuckDuckGo, my blog post is again the first organic search result. Interestingly, it even ranks above video results from YouTube.
Another organic position #1 of my blog post in the SEPR of Ecosia.

Another example of one of my blog posts on how to emotionally support an artist being both in the featured snippet and the first organic search result on Yandex.

My “Social Art Dilemma” made it to the featured snippet on Bing—ranking with the official Instagram site in the side box. Not bad at all.

My 5-step tutorial on how to make storytelling through artwork effective got again the featured snippet, ranking with the highly competitive keyword “storytelling” on Bing’s first results page.

My post on why being an artist is a calling in Bing’s featured snippet, even ranking about Medium, a large site with high domain authority.
